Assistant Housekeeping Manager Job in Dubai

At the moment were looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Housekeeping team, based at Holiday Inn Downtown Dubai.

As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for:

Monitoring Housekeeping personnel to ensure all guests and internal customers receive prompt and courteous service.

Maintain appropriate standards for dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance, posture and conduct of Housekeeping personnel

Identify and ensure highest possible standard of cleanliness, maintenance, guest room supplies and amenities at realistic costs .

Supervise outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance with FLS and Brand standards . (Windows, Marble , Pest Control and other such contracts)

Implement and control Housekeeping procedures that provide for the health and safety of personnel and guests, such as lost and found service, key control, security and emergency procedures and environmental procedures

Manage all Housekeeping associated projects and attends Project Meetings as required and prepares the Housekeeping budget.

Ensure that all practices, products of Housekeeping department comply with Brand Standards.

Investigate all guest complaints and glitches. Implement procedures and processes to identify and resolve the regular problem areas to meet guest expectation.

Ensure regular meeting with Engineering and FO for all project related works in Housekeeping department.

Oversee laundry operations Inventory and plan the purchase to ensure optimum inventory based on the operational needs.

Schedule routine Property inspections of all Housekeeping areas and coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure proper upkeep of the property.

Inspect guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good repair

Manage spring cleaning schedules.

Make recommendations to the General Manager or designate regarding the upkeep of furnishings, facilities, and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good repair.

Assist with design of new uniform concepts with Managers.

Inform other departments of Housekeeping matters that concern them, particularly the Laundry Department, the Engineering Department, the Front Office, and the Food and Beverage department.
